Equipment

• A large dewar; Tajmar's came from JANIS (12VSRD research Dewar) - 12" I.D.
  
• Start with the YBCO ring similar to Tajmar's
  • outer diameter of 160 mm and wall thickness of 15 mm
  • Nexans Superconductors?
    
• Use a compressed air motor – the electric motors generate too much EM noise and you will spend lots of time initially to reduce it. Tajmar's best data was always with the air motor.
  
• Tajmar recommends we concentrate on the gyro measurements first since the accelerometer data can be still flawed with vibration artifacts – the gyro measurements are much cleaner. Also recommends we start with the KVH gyros similar to his as they have the required accuracy. Build a vacuum chamber around the spinning axis to bring the gyros close to the rotating ring – for details see the experimental reports.
