Notes
The distance from the upper side of the ring to the bottom side of the KVH gyro is 31.3 mm.
The thickness of the stainless steel vacuum chamber with the gyros is 3 mm
(however, there is then a layer of µmetal and MLI shieldings inside the vacuum chamber as well).
